  • SEASONS COME, SEASONS GO, PEOPLE COME, PEOPLE GO

Posted on Saturday, February 26, 2011

As we are flowing on our stream of life people will come and go, just like the seasons.  Some may be like sunshine on a rainy day, a beautiful snowflake, a crisp autumn day or the spring which has sprung – people arriving and departing at the perfect time for you.

Some may be with you for a very short time, some a little longer, some for a lifetime... it matters not. All that matters is the people flowing into your life, into your experiences are there at the right time for the right reasons.  We are working in unison with the Holy Spirit to bring forth all our wonderful dreams and desires.  Sometimes people around us may not agree with the path we have chosen.  Sometimes we may not always agree with people around us. Sometimes they may choose to leave and go their own way.  That’s okay too.

It's at times like this we can appreciate that a season with one of the unique people we have connected with may be over... time to let go... time to move on.  Bubble yourself, jump in and appreciate the season you had.  Life is good all the time – when you allow it to be.

  • WE ARE ALL WONDERFUL CREATIONS

Posted on Sunday, January 23, 2011

Sometimes we forget our Spirit. We forget how divine we are and how we truly belong on this Earth, like every other creation. We allow circumstances to create fears and fears to determine our success. We forget that by being born, we were given the ultimate right to enjoy every ounce of success, happiness, joy, health and love possible. When we forget that we are created in God’s image, nothing prospers.

Once we realize that our power, our strength, our wisdom, our soul comes from something so great, so powerful, so wonderful - we realize our purpose and our possibilities. There is not a thing you can’t do, if you put your mind to it. There is not a home you can’t have, a relationship you can’t foster, a career you can’t create and own, a bill you can’t pay. Don’t look back 10 years from now and your ‘rut’ has followed you to your new space.

Wake up every morning and know that the most powerful force is on your side... your God. Wake up and make that business plan, get that school application in, realize that yesterday is done and the ill-happenings of that day can no longer touch you. You are a new creation every moment that you seek to be. Don’t allow past relationships to determine today’s good luvin‘, don’t allow those thoughts in your head to speak louder than your spirit because your spirit knows all things, understands all things, seeks all things.

That is the voice you should be listening to all day and all night. Wake up every morning, look in the mirror and compliment yourself. You were made in the image of perfection and that is what you will see - when you open those eyes and behold YOU as a wonderful creation in Christ.

  • TAKING CARE OF YOUR TEMPLE

Posted on Saturday, November 27, 2010

The key to starting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is loving yourself - right where you are right now. God gave each one of us our own individual bodies. Our bodies have been designed for perfection.

I want you to do this Mirror, Mirror exercise. Stand in front of a mirror (full length if possible) and speak aloud positive things about each part of your body. Start with any part... your legs, hips, face, arms, just declare the greatness of God that is in every area.

    Glorify God in Your Body.

"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." I Corinthians 6:19-20

We have a responsibility to God to take care of our bodies. Of course, that means not polluting our temples with drugs, cigarettes or alcohol. It also means giving our bodies regular physical activity to stay fit.

We must have proper nutrition to maintain our temples. This means eating balanced meals and squashing the fast foods. Variety, moderation and increase in fruits and vegetables are healthier choices.

  • Spilled Milk

Posted on Wednesday, April 14, 2010

You may have failed at some thing at some time in your life or you feel disappointed for non-achievement. There’s that song that inspires to get up and dust yourself off (humming the bars now).

You ought to be proud of YOU, show off YOU. You are a trophy of victory no matter what you failed at in life because you are still standing so lift yourself up to the world to be seen. You are a force to be reckoned with, you just need to admit it, for you have had victories.

So be proud of YOU. Starting seeing yourself as a problem solver and a solution provider, you are what others are looking for. Say to yourself "None like me, I am unique!” Move with forward with power in your step!

Stop crying over spilled milk. It’s already spilled and cleaned up, so what are you looking back for. heart

  • Finding Your Mid-life Mojo (4)

Posted on Monday, April 12, 2010

After getting yourself settled with what I shared in the last three posts, here’s the finale.

Believing in yourself. You know you are unique, so once you’ve wrestled with the guilty feelings that are probably there to make you feel insecure, it’s time to believe in yourself.

You‘re getting older but you‘re also wiser. So wise up! Start looking at your attributes and those that have been taking a back seat, well roll them forward and do something positive with them.

You are more beautiful than you think you are; let your light shine for others to see. Straighten your shoulders, push your hips forward and walk with confidence. You’ll feel your mojo coming back to you; it was never lost really, just waiting for you to push it back to the front.

I know you can move forward with style and grace; you know it too. So what are you waiting on?
