I got an Epiphanie!!  

No, I didn't 'have' an epiphanie, I got one. An Epiphanie camera bag that is.

My Canon camera bag is nice, but let's face it, it's more of a 'man' bag. It's big and bulky and very hard to get in and out of. Being in a wheelchair it's very hard to carry around along with my purse, phone, and well you know! lol

As I started my new treatment this issue came in to play. On August 23, 2011 I had my first infusion of Tysabri.

One major side effect is Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), which may cause death. This medication suppresses my over active immune system due to my progressive MS, which can lead to this viral infection. I will be monitored for medicinal hepatitis [liver damage] and UTI's. Now that my system will be suppressed I am more prone to getting other issues.

Saw this on FB and it is how I feel most days. In my dreams I am able bodied and walking friendly. Then, I wake up. This past Friday showed me how crippled I am really am. I HATE my wheelchair but realized it is my life now. On Friday I was getting the laundry ready, turned on my WC, and nothing but blinking lights. I kept turning it off and on like a mad woman, and the same thing happened over and over again. I was completely screwed! Stuck in my room with no way to move. As the tears slowly slid down my face I looked up at whatever higher power is up there and quietly asked, WHY!?
