Well let me start by saying THANK YOU to you all for your words of comfort, your prayers, thoughts and good wishes for my sister.

My sister was on the ventilator for 10 days. She had 2 stents in. They do not know how long she was without oxygen or the long term effects either. She experienced major paranoia and forgetfulness. She tried to leave the hospital and just walk out even tho no one was there to get her. She told 2 of nieces and my sister that she hated them and would never forget that they were “doing” this to her.

After all this the Dr’s still cleared her to go home......

GREAT!!!! If only.....

The first thing she did was NOT to light up a cigerette and continue to chain smoke. To act like we were punishing her by not getting her a bottle of wine. To want to continue the lifestyle that landed her there.

What would be great is if I could bring myself to NOT care!!!!

I am going home tomorrow. The plan originally was to gonfor work and helpnwithnsome things in my old stores. But then things happened with my sister. So I will be driving up there, stopping in Nashville to pick up my niece.
I will be working but I will also be visiting with my family and my sister in the hospital. I’m not sure if it’s looking good or not for her....... I guess these things take time.

I am hoping to meet up with Neicy and Linni but will see how it all falls into place.  

I will try to jump on and visit with you all just depends on if I have free time.

Please keep my sister in your thoughts and prayers

My sister had a heart attack  early today and is in the hospital. She is currently sedated and on a ventilator. Her blood pressure is still high and they want to keep her under while they try to bring it down. They are unable to tell us anything else until after this.

So I am asking for prayers and all your positive energy.....

Last night my hubs and I were snug in our bed. The lights had only been turned off for maybe 10 minutes or so. Normally we would play a game or 2 on our iPods or he will read the news to me.  

I heard footsteps walking across the floor upstairs.  I waited a minute and didn’t hear any more so I said to my hubz “did you hear Garrett come in?“. He said no but he must have.  

Ok Garrett is my 21 year old step son and his room is right over ours. He is many things but quiet is not in that list.  So I don’t think anything more and proceed with what I was doing ( reading).  

Well the next thing I know I hear a little mini Cooper pull up, keys in the door, and pound pound pound up the stairs. Then I hear the shoes kicked off one by one, the cell phone and keys drop to the floor and a plop on the bed.

So if those last noises I heard was Garrett coming in and making his normal noise what were those other foot steps we heard???????
