Girl Talk
The feeling you get at the end of a movie like "Pay it Forward," when you can't help but want to GIV back to a person or community?
When was the last time you read a book that you couldn't put down; something that captured your undivided attention and kept you on your toes until the very last page?
Have you heard of the mystery that surrounds the unknown author who calls himself "Boston Terran"? No one really knows if the author is a man, a woman, or a group of several authors. Everyone speculates but no one is really sure if this is the work of someone who is a famous or unknown.
This is the story of a dog and many events in American history- events that both shaped the United States and our people. This heartwarming story deeply impacted me, reiterating the importance of building relationships and surrounding ourselves with people who care for us unconditionally.
This book will resonate with every woman, man, and young adult. I would love to hear from you and discuss this story in our book club

Are you honest about your age? Or is it "circumstantial"?
More Magazine's Lesley Jane Seymour and dating coach Evan Marc Katz battle it out- what's your take?
It is so often that we take life for granted and even more frequent when we don't stop to appreciate the little things in life that really make us happy.
Bringing my baby home was truly a blessing. As I walked into my house I couldn't help but smile. Every piece of furniture, every painting was associated with some kind of memory.
My house was filled with a fantastic smell (my favorite); only when I stepped into my kitchen did I understand where the smell was coming from.
Cindylou was on to something when she came up with an idea to create your own candle. Red currant was my scent and it arrived in time to fill my house with this wonderful aroma.
As I took a shower and got into bed, I couldn't believe how great it felt. It was the same shower and the same bed that I get into every night. This time was different because I actually stopped and appreciated how good it feels to be home.
As I was falling asleep in the arms of the man I adore, I promised myself to stop and celebrate each and every day. To appreciate the little things in life that make us happy, and to write a blog titled "There is no place like home".
Have a fantastic weekend.
As I write this blog, happy tears are streaming down my face. I feel that I have been out of touch with reality. The last 8 days have been a blur, a nightmare that would not end. But even bad dreams come to an end, and it's with great pleasure that I can announce that Stephanie is doing much better. The Neurologist proclaimed her to be well enough to fly home.
Ten pounds lighter, but with a smile on her face, I can take my baby home.
I thank each and every one of you for your prayers, emails, messages, and all of your support. I said it before and I will say it again:
"The power of girlfriends is what get's us through the good, the bad and the ugly"
