Coffee Hour with Yana

I came home last night from California. This was a family trip so I didn’t make the usual arrangements to see fab40 members like I usually do. But a pleasant surprise that Yana was going to be passing through Orange County and the timing was perfect to get together for coffee. I was waiting for my brother and his fiance to arrive at Orange County Airport and had an hour or so to spare. It was great to get together with her and get caught up.

So other than having coffee with Yana and spending time with my mom I hung around with my brother and his fiance. We went to the Mission San Juan Capistrano


And we had lunch at a legendary Mexican restaurant in Dana Point, Olamendi’s. It’s been 25 years since I’ve been there and the place hasn’t changed a bit! And the food was just as good as I remember.


Next time I come out to see my mom I’ll organize a get together with members. There just wasn’t time on this trip but I highly recommend it - we have wonderful members on this site and it’s a lot of fun to meet one another.

So since I’ve been gone for a week - what did I miss??
