Getting the feet wet...

Okay.  Just happened upon this site tonight.  I think I found it because I was on facebook.  Facebook is amazing as I have found on that site many folks that I graduated with some 30-odd years ago. :)

I love the way this site is set up (what I have seen of it thus far).  Looking forward to seeing what new relationships that I might gain from being on this site, as well as networking a bit.

You will find that I am bit of a techie at times. I am on several websites for networking and social development (LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace, Fubar, Twitter, Tumblr, Austin 360, Yahoo 360, American Statesman, Blogger, MyFoxAustin, Blip.fm, and Grooveshark to name a few).  As you can see from some of the sites mentioned above, I am an avid blogger (I have over 14 blog sites that started from the need to declutter a lot of paper scrapprojects that I was saving up for, etc.).

I am also wanting to write some books.  They‘re outline in my head mostly; some of them are written in draft form startups.  Need to learn how to discover book/publishing agents, etc.

Any ideas/suggestions that you can send my way, I am all ears.

Also, if you have a question, I may be prolific when I respond; therefore, hang on to your hat when you ask a question from me. :P

Monday upcoming is my 50 birthday.  I’ll be celebrating it on the 18th though since my r/l birthday is on a Monday.  I don’t normally celebrate my birthday, but this seems like such a milestone that I would probably be remiss if I didn’t have a birthday party.  I’ll certainly take plenty of pictures....

ANYHOW....
