I’m 47 years old and have noticed body and skin changes over the years but they were slow and mostly tolerable. It’s in the last two years that the speed at which these changes are taking place have me dismayed and sometimes a bit depressed. I spend countless hours looking for remedies but before I can find one I notice something new that needs a fix. I want to be accepting of the whole aging process and go with the flow but my eyes peer down to my hands, my crepey arms, the wrinkles starting on my knees...what is a girl to do? Yes, girl, that’s how I feel 
. Where did the time go? Where did my hands go? Is there anything I can do to accept this process a little easier? Is there anything out there that really works?
Well I hear ya on all the changes. Just know that you are not alone!!!!!
Diet, exercise, good lotion and drinking lots of water are great places to start. While appearance does matter to me I guess the things you mentioned are not as important t o me as my health and happiness. I try to focus on my health which will make the rest be ok
I hear ya Nisse, Im making bettr choices and changes for my health as well I’ll be 53 this June and sometimes I feel like I’m 99.
Thank you Denise and Vicki for those encouraging words. Being happy and healthy are the most important things in life, along with family and friends. I just wish I didn’t care so much about the outside changes!!!!!!
I can tell you that its not that I don’t care, I do very much! It’s just not a focus like before so I guess that has led to acceptance of myself.
I totally understand, I’m 47 also and see my mothers hands, not mine, lol. Where did the time go?
