After almost 8 years of NOT working outside the home, I’m biting the bullet and going out to job search!

In 1985 I returned to school, received my GED and completed a little over a year of Business skills receiving a Certificate in Business Administration.

In high school, I went to an academic high school thinking I’d follow the college route, however, ended up dropping out in the beginning of 10th grade!!  Ah, to be young & dumb!  Alas, never having typing skills.

Within a 15 year period, I worked for two insurance companies which I was not very happy in the office setting.  But hey, I was making a pretty good living with benefits.

Today, that ‘but hey’ just doesn’t seem to be enough.  I need more.

At 52 years old, I would love to find something that I actually enjoy getting up in the morning and going to.  I wouldn’t even care so much about the dollar amount (as long as I’m able to exist), as it meet my personal needs.

  •  Somewhat physical
  •  Interaction with different people thru-out day
  •  Not sitting @ a desk for 8 hrs.
  •  Challenge - intellectually
  •  Opportunity to learn new things
  •  Helping people
  •  ?

Since not challenging my ‘noodle’ for so long (and not really ever stepping out of my comfort zone much at any time in my life), I am craving for that challenge and wanting to move on.

Besides that, Mike and I have plans on moving down the shore to retire and my getting a J.O.B. seems to be the only way to achieve that goal.  I want that so much I can taste the salt air of the ocean!

So, off to get spruced up - (shower makeup hair) and off to step out of my comfort zone.

Have an awesome day, ladies!
