Well hello Fab40! It’s been awhile since I last logged in but I’ll never not be a member here. I love Yana for creating such an awesome place for us women to come and share and meet new friends. Over the years I’ve met some fabulous women here and we are still friends today just from our beginning connection here. As a matter of fact one of my friends Kerri hit me up on Linked-In just to let me know she was coming back to Fab40, so I told her I’d meet her on here. I hope a lot of the other ladies will come back as well. There has been so much going on with over the past couple of years. My granddaughter Jadyn is now 12, can you believe it!? She’ll be a teenager next August(shaking my head) I can’t believe it myself. My oldest daughter got married 2 yrs.

ago so I now have a son and I love him dearly he just buried his mom today as a matter of fact, it was a beautiful homegoing service. My oldest daughter also has her own hair salon she’s been in business now 5yrs. I’m so proud of her. My youngest daughter is still single and doing well with her business’s she’s still doing her sweet treats, making clothes, and doing her photography business all is well with my children. My hubby is doing well he is 3yrs. from retirement thank God! We are contemplating moving to the South when he does retire. My sister is patiently waiting for us.

Over the years I’ve tried my hand at different things, I’ve been ding a lot of community out reach lately with my church. I recently started a new job, BUT I’m going to have to let it go, due to it causing my Polymyalgia Rheumatica to flare up again. Man does that suck!!!! :( I’ve been trying hard NOT to have to file for social security disability, but I may have to. I’ve been putting it off because I WANT TO WORK!!! I’m going to see if I can find me a receptionist job, something where I can sit and not have to do any heavy lifting or walking on my feet all the time. Let’s see what else can I share well next month Nov.17th my hubby and I will be celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. I’ve been ding a lot of ministering at the church, as a matter of fact I have to minister on the 21st of this month say a prayer for me lol. But nonetheless God has been good to me and my family.

Hubby bought himself a new 2018 Silverado truck with the backseat cab, its huge. It’s Havana Brown but Jadyn and I call it “Smokey” he deserved it, the last time he bought a vehicle was in 2006 when he bought his 1st Silverado truck and we still have old “red boy” that’s his name be cause it factory color is Victory red. I’m still in my 2016 white Kia Sorento. I love my SUV her name is Pearl, I’m planning on purchasing the 2019 in another 6 months. A couple of weeks ago hubby and I went to a dinner dance with his old factory workers from GM Fisher Body. We had a ball. Our other couple friends went along with us. Oh and the biggest thing of all with me was that I had Bariatric surgery in February of this year.

I had the sleeve done like my youngest daughter did 2 years ago. It was a cake walk, so far I’ve lost 65lbs. I’m almost at my goal weight. I’m s glad my doctor recommended me to have it, my knees feel better and my back hurts but not as bad only when I lift too much and that’s from the polymyalgia. I was going to the gym and walking on a regular basis for a good while but I got away from it, I do still go to the gym from time to time. I still need to build up my muscle mass. The trainer I was working with tried t kill me it seemed so I stopped working with him. He was a beast lol. Well that’s it for now.

Love & Peace,

Love it
