**Hello Ladies..I was invited to join Facebook and while I was setting up my page when an add for this site popped up..Hummm I thought, this might be what I am looking for.I really am hoping to make some friends here. The main thing that sparked my intrest was that it was a site for “Women“. I have been on other sites, My Space, Yahoo360..but when you get down to it they were nothing but meat markets.Which is fine when your single and on the hunt.I am in a solid and great relationship so I am not on the “Hunt” I love to chat and blog..It will be nice to share things with all of you..I live in the country and am a happy homemaker..I just moved out here about a year and a half ago. It was quite a shock for me..Actually the whole move to the South was a shock..I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan..So I was used to hopping in my car and with in a five mile radious I could go to every thing from a mall to a salon..Where I am now I have a 20 mile drive just to get to the “city” and the biggest store there is a Super Wal-Mart...To get to a mall I have to drive about 70 miles...So you can just imagine how strange that was for me..Now though I am very happy living out here..I can look out my kitchen window and there are cows grazing in the pastureland behind our house..I just think it would be fun and interesting to share experiences and stories with all of you..Well hope to hear from you.. =)

    • Hi, and welcome!

Your serene life in the country sounds great! My husband and I just made a career move that has us living and working on the feeder road of a major highway into and out of Houston, Texas. You and I might as well be on different planets, lol.

I’m also from Michigan! Born in Flint and lived there until I was 13. I still have family in Owosso and Chesaning.

      Hope you blog often!

    • **Hay there!! Yes this life is very peaceful and so private here..We have a patio deck on the pool..and we bought some material that is a tight weave..letting air pass through, but can’t see through..So when we swim or tan we can :) literally “Tan Our Cans” We grow a medium size garden..There is nothing like going out there and picking a nice ripe jucie Cantaloupe off the vine..We grow tomatoes, green peppers,cucumbers..It is really kewl growing my own stuff..We have a apple orchard on our land and I even learned to freeze apples..My boyfriend is a Sweet and Careing guy who spoils me to death..I spoil him as well..I am so happy I finally met the man I have always looked for...It’s about darn time.. =)
