Everyone has a mom. You had to have one to get here in the first place. Unfortunately, several people won’t get to share mothers day with that person.
My husband is an example of one of those. Definitely not because he doesn’t want to but because she is no longer with us. He misses her everyday and I’m sure anyone that knew her does. It is a fact that one of the reasons I married my husband is because of the way he felt for his mom. He loved her, adored her and knew she could do no wrong. If a man can open his heart to that kind of love then he is a good man.
There are other people that choose not to respect or admire their mom on this day. They may have their reasons. She may have been a very bad mom. For those of you, I hope you have found someone you can love as if they are a mom because you deserve it.
I am of neither set. I am lucky to have my mom and think she is the most wonderful mom in the world. Like anyone or any other family in the world we have had our ups and downs but she still deserves all of the love, respect and admiration that a person can have. She doesn’t have to look far because I can give her that. Lucky woman, she gets that from most everyone because she is loving toward everyone else.
This is for my mom and if you have a special mom or love your mom then let her know that every day is Mothers Day.
