Now proclaim a brand new day,

With a celebration pending,  

For the stone is rolled away;

Word of Truth is not a lie;  

Spread a feast, O dawn of Easter,

For the rich and for the poor;

Lift your hands and offer praises;

Our salvation is secure.

Just believe, O dawn of Easter,

Know our faith is not in vain,

For the Lord, as our salvation,

Brings release from all our pain.

Play a harp, O dawn of Easter

Let new choruses arise;

Bright new rays on the horizon;  

See the beauty of the skies.

Sound the trumpet, dawn of Easter,

Let the anthems forth, now pour,

Ushered in, with love and mercy;

And rejoicing ever more;
