If you’ve read my flip side, you’ll know that I have been really sick this week.  So has our itty-bitty pup too.

Maybe it was all the fun of having family or just the luck of the draw-whatever, Lucky (after 2 trips, 2 x-rays and lots of worry and phone calls)is suffering from a tweaked back and I have the worst cases of both bronchitis and a sinus infection that I’ve endured in 5 years.  Maybe more.

Cooking?  Hah!

DH brought home a chicken from Costco that thankfully fed us twice and a lunch for him.   Sides had him putting some raw veggies on a plate and ore-ida potatoes.

Did I care?  Not in the least.

Last night he worked until 9.  I used some leftover quinoa and egg whites and made a frittata.

I’m not really worried about meals at this point.  Tonight?  DH took out a steak.  Bleck.  The sound of steak going into my heavy lungs and sinus ridden body doesn’t sound that great.

It’s okay though, as long as I’m not the one cooking.

Yep, this is my 3rd PJ day since I gave in to all this Monday afternoon.  I cancelled 3 interviews and my PT session.  Just happy to lie on my recliner with my bottle of water with my very sore pup and attending tabby and rest.

And now, that’s exactly what I’m going to go back to doing.
