So far I’m not overly impressed with 2014.
I’ve had a doozy of a UTI since before the accident that I was hoping would just go away if I ignored it.
It didn’t.
So my cooking this week has been: Tea and Toast, literally.
DH went and brought home some dinner last night. He has worked the closing shift for the last few days-guess he figured when he saw me with my head in the kitchen sink and puking-dinner was NOT in the cards.
Whatever.
What’s your favorite comfort food when you‘re sick?
Hope you feel better, did you see a doc about the UTI?, that is one painful infection. Last weekend I had a hell of a migraine and was throwing up on Saturday, so I did not eat much for two days. If I have a cold, then a nice hot bowl of soup with saltines is all I want.
oh yeah, new gp and a med I’ve never taken b/f. it has done a number on my stomach and then some. I wanted some chicken noodle soup-but didn’t have any and no strength to make it from scratch.
migraines will do that to you as well. used to get those b/f meno. I was the type that had the “halo” and then came the vomiting and such.
so sorry.
still, this case of the green meanies isn’t much better.
UTIs are no fun!
I guess my favorite comfort food when I’m not feeling good is chocolate pudding. Also mashed potatoes and gravy.
Now that you’ve posed this question it made me think...... I really don’t have a comfort food when I’m sick. When I’m hormonal it’s the coke, chips n chocolate thing. Hmmmmmmm............
I love chocolate pudding too-but not right now...
