Hard to believe we‘re almost at Thanksgiving, but we most certainly can’t deny it’s arrival!

Before we go further-the cauliflower tots were pretty good, but I’d suggest baking them about 5 minutes longer than the original suggestions.  They’ll be crispier.

However, the 3 boys loved them.  All 3 had no idea they had just eaten cauliflower-they just thought it was cool that grandma made homemade tots.

On to T-giving.  This year, due to circumstances that are totally out of my control, I will still host, but I’m not at all sure if we‘re actually going to do it on the 26th.

Seems that our latest grandchild is doing her best to actually make it to her proposed due date-the 22nd.

Our dear Sam told us she was born a few days late-so we‘re not totally sure about anything other than I could get a call in a minute to come watch Jackson and take Sam to the hospital or we might just all sit and stare at the beautiful woman we call our younger daughter.

Honestly, I’m not at all sure Sam would appreciate the later.

When we do celebrate we will have the obligatory turkey, my famous mashed potatoes, one of my mom’s stuffing recipes, hopefully our daughter’s recipe for roasted beets/green beans with a bit of goat cheese and almonds in a nice glaze, either a crudité tray or a salad and dessert.  Of course that includes pumpkin pie.

We are a very traditional family-but that’s okay, even if we move the date we celebrate this holiday on to accommodate the arrival of one already cherished little girl who will be now called:  Bryce Kennedy.

Love it
