I have no idea where the time went. It seems like just yesterday I was hanging out with the girls, laughing and flirting with the guys, showing off our bikinis and laughing at the old people. At 23 everybody was old, except now I’m the one that the young girls laugh at. Now tomorrow I’ll be 50! Funny thing is I don’t feel 50. I go for my walks every morning, (5 miles a day) I workout out at least twice a week, I eat healthy ( except on Sunday, that’s when everyone comes over and we all pig out) and I still date, (divorced and loving it).  My guy is at least 10 years younger than I am.

So when do we let age define us? Yes there is a lot of things left to do on my bucket list, like traveling, learn to swim, visit every major fairground in the US. And yes get married again. At the beginning of 2015 instead of making a new year resolution, you know, “lose 10 pounds, go to the gym everyday ect...” because lets face it, none of that is real, I’m still paying for a membership that I only went to 3 times in the past 4 years. [note to self.. cancel membership]. I decided to be more realistic and change my life style.

How do you eat a elephant? One bite at a time. So I started with walking, at first it was just around the block, which forced me to stop smoking, then it was my eating habits, I cut down on sweets and bread. Now it’s on to yoga. Yes it’s changeling  but I know I can do it. I still have a ways to go, and I’m taking it ONE BITE AT A TIME.
