"Wisps and Strokes"

Summer has arrived in the Northeast.  As usual it's a mix of weather.  Some days are rather cool and rainy.  Other days are hot and sunny.  And sometimes the sky darkens with storm clouds of rain, lightening and thunder.  As the sun comes back out and the storm moves off, I sometimes enjoy gazing at the huge clouds.  They reach up so high they appear as if they were mountains in the sky.
Sometimes it is like a painting by our creator. Wisps and strokes of paint on nature's canvas.

I can't help finding wisps and strokes when painting horses, too.  Their manes and tails flap and flow with the horse's movement.  Their coats gleam in the sun shine.

The horse's beauty has been portrayed through the ages and continues to inspire us into the future.

Take the time to see the beauty around us in nature, and in the things we have in our lives.
