If you listen to “guy talk,” you’ll usually hear topics that are completely irrelevant to women.  You never hear men complain to other men about lack of communication in the relationship, a desire to share their feelings, or anything remotely related to issues between them and their significant other.

You will, however, hear that their women nag and bug them for things that are of little importance and relevance.  For example, you will hear that the sex life is not up to par, and their “honey” has gotten old.  Especially in midlife, men seem to lose sight of what is really significant and concentrate on one thing that they regard as sacred, such as keeping up with their sex drive.

It’s funny, and sometimes even pathetic, to watch middle-age men chase after 20-year old girls, making complete fools of themselves.  The only thing worse, in my opinion, is watching younger guys chasing older women.  Now, I will be the first to say that younger men and older women in love is a great thing, but only if the younger man has no ulterior motives.

Lately, it seems like more and more men are positioning themselves as “studs.”  They let their “mother-figure” women take care of them financially, emotionally and anything else they desire.  In their minds, they consider themselves a great catch. Yet, I find that most of these men are conceited, condescending and sometimes downright abusive.
