Do you think of the exact day your kids were born on their birthdays and what it was like? Find yourself looking at the clock throughout the day remembering what time things were happening and the time they were born, etc? Or remembering funny things that happened on those days, etc?
I’ve done this every year on their b-days, not really telling anyone I was doing so, just remembering to myself.
I’m a sentimental nerd to the core. haha Always have been.
It’s my youngest son’s birthday today- He is now 21. Can’t believe it...

it just take me back to the days that my life was changed for the BETTER and I would do it all over again..
Kids grow up so fast and I cherish everyday with them.. I don’t think there anything wrong with being sentimental, I’m right there with ya

Happy birthday to your son! My youngest will be 16 in ten days. Hard to believe! How did they get to be so old?
No, I don’t really think of the day they were born on their birthday. I tend to tell great stories about the days they were born because my kids all came with their own special drama. But,on the actual day, I don’t think about it much.

I do that too. On my daughters last birthday my best friend called me at 8 a.m. to congratulate me, and I told her she was way tooooo early....reminding her that she wasn’t born until it was 4 p.m., she told me I’ve lost it. I love my girlfriend, but because she doesn’t have kids of her own, my humor get’s lost in translation

Hope your son enjoyed his birthday. Our son will be 24 this year and I do think back about all those fun b-day parties.
