  • Chicken in chocolate sauce

      5 Chicken Thighs

      Sprinkled with salt pepper and flower to taste

      On high fire brown each side of the chicken for about 3 to 5 minutes
      Transfer to a plate and let it sit there until you are done with the sauce


      In the same skillet add:

      1 large Onion
      2 carrots
      2 sticks of celery
      Sauté for about 10 minutes than add
      1 Jalapeño Pepper
      1 Green Pepper
      1 large tomatoes chopped
      1 cup of chicken broth

      Cook for about 5 more minutes  


      Crushed garlic
      Dried prunes
      2 tbsp of raisins
      ¾  cup of semi sweet chocolate

      As soon as it boils you can take it off the fire and place everything in the food processer.
      Put the chicken back into the skillet, pour the sauce on top, cover, and cook for an additional 25 minutes.

      Garnish with almonds and cilantro
