In essence, Paul said, "Forget about the past! Enjoy what you have now!" When you live in the moment, giving thanks, you'll be the blessed and not the stressed.

Don’t live your life thinking, “I’ll be happy when I finally get that promotion I’m looking for. I’ll be happy when I can finally pay off these bills. I’ll be happy when I can finally get that new car.” No! Live your life in the present!

Your life does not consist in the abundance of things (Luke 12:15). Believer, the reason you know you are blessed this moment is because you have eternal life! Right now your sins are washed away. Right now there is an answer inside you by the Holy Ghost for any problem that you may ever face. Why should you not enjoy the present moment?

Single people, don’t get caught thinking, “I’m already a certain age, and ten years from now I may still not be married!” If you don’t practice mindfulness, you can’t laugh and can’t smile, and you won’t have any joy. When you‘re wound up like that, satan can come in and destroy whatever relationship you do have. You’ll be saying, “I just can’t seem to make any friends.” Of course not! You‘re the stressed and not the blessed!

Believer, enjoy the moment! You can go to a church right now where the Word of God can be preached unfettered. You don’t have to go underground in order to get a few pages of the Bible. You’ve been given the gift of freedom!

Prayer for Today: Father, Thank you for the gift of being able to worship you freely. Thank you for health. Thank you for providing my every need. Thank you for being good to me all the time. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Scripture Of The Day: "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before." - Philippians 3:13
