      My new hobby is loom knitting! I’m making a red hat for a 5 year old girl as a Christmas gift.

      I enjoy crocheting so I’ll be adding a crochet flower to the hat as an embellishment. A touch of elegance or whimsy!

      Please suggest flower/butterfly colors to complement the red hat as I intend to make her 2 flowers and a butterfly. Detachable embellishments are a must for this fashionable lil’ miss!

      Knitters, what’s on your loom/needles at this time?

        • The hat is finished! I’ve made a flower in chunky pastel yellow yarn with a red pistil. The contrast of red and pastel yellow is beautiful!

          What other color flower would you suggest? Also, what color should I make the butterfly?

          Your input will become a part of the written story that  will accompany her gift. It will be memorable for her as she can read and wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
