      I posted some time ago that my sister in law lost 29 pounds after menopause without doing anything special. She kept exercising and eating healthy during the perimenopause years, even though it was uncomfortable. After menopause the extra weight she had gained just fell off.

      When I started perimenopause I tried to exercise. I’ve always been an exerciser. I atually like to exercise. But my body temperature was so high that when I started to workout I felt like my head would explode.

      My hot flashes started to subside around last winter so I started to workout again. But now I feel like my hormones are beginning to balance out all on their own. I’ve upped the exercise. This morning I got on the scale - something I rarely do - and I was down several pounds. Now I’m excited and hoping this momentum will continue.

      Anyone else experience a difference in their weight as they came to the end of perimenopause?
