In England they have spy cameras in almost all public places & there hasn’t been any change in their crime rate.

How do you feel about spy cameras?

      Love it

        • I think it is hard to say there hasnt been a change because I believe there has been a shift in the type of crime being reported. I believe in certain areas CCTV has helped direct the relevent emergency services to where they need to be especially where manpower on the street (for what ever reason) has been reduced, and they have also helped successfully prosecute individuals where the victim may not have been able to successfully identify the culprit/criminal.
I personally have no issue with CCTV as long as they are used in the correct manner, however there have been cases were certain sectors have used cameras inappropriately to monitor peoples behaviour either in private or in the workplace without informing all that they are under surveillance. This should not be sanctioned in my opinion.
