Hi. I started this group because I changed my life so much over the past 25 years or so.

This is just in a brief summary:

My story was one of illness...being bedridden for nine months, paralysis on and off, memory loss etc... to make a very long story short,( I can hook you up to a link if you’d like to hear the full story)after 9 months I had enough.  I was done being ill and ready to be healthy. I went to the doctor asked him to take me off all meds and started my new life from there.

I started listening to positive thinking and personal development CD’s - 3 days before I was ready to get healthy and my life changed from there.  It changed my life in a way I never would’ve expected.  FOR THE BETTER.  I am grateful for that 9 months of illness that taught me how my mind controls my body.  I am now helping others through all of my experiences and it’s a wonderful thing.

So... I made lemonade out of lemons and continue to do it on a daily basis.  How about you?  Please share your stories.  Maybe it can help someone else to know if you did it...they can too!!!

        • Here's a little more for you to read.
( Below is from my blog introduction on my's kind of a page where in a briefing I tell how my life changed from Lyme disease (just go to the bottom and hit previous - it is the first post)...if you have any questions though...I'm here!!! I really, really changed my life) [Link Removed]

My life, for the past 24 years, has been a continuous process of growing and learning. At age 23 I was bedridden with Lyme disease for nine months. I allowed my illness to take over my life, mind and body. Had I known then what I know now, I probably would've only been in bed for three weeks. It was that experience that helped me to change my life forever. I look at it as a blessing because since then my life just gets better and better. I realize that I would not be the person I am today had it not been for Lyme disease. Its funny how in some odd way, I am grateful for that experience. I do my best to find the hidden learning lesson and the positive in most of life's situations and experiences.
