Do you have a fireplace and will you hang Christmas stocking from it? Do you sit around the fireplace during family holiday gathering?
We don’t have a fireplace. When my kids were little, I had a faux fireplace that I put on the wall. It had a mantle height shelf above it that hung there all year. The kids hung their stockings from that shelf. It was cute.
Yes, we have a fireplace in our family room. This year, the stockings will hang from a quilt rack as I want the focus to be on my mantle decor. The fireplace will be used for its beauty only as I’ll have Christmas decor displayed in the fireplace also. We will be sitting around the fireplace.
