Ok, can you tell I have gardening on the brain? 
But it’s still pitch dark outside so I can’t very well go out and putter around the garden. LOL.
My favorite shrub colorwise is the lilac of course, but I’m allergic to them. So I have to say the old fashioned “Bridal Wreath Spirea” would be my favorite. Just love the way they will grow anywhere and make a white cloud when they bloom.
When I lived in SC we had a peony shrub that hubby got from his grandmother’s house. Unfortunately we couldn’t take it when we left.
I looooooooooooooooove the lilacs and in all the colors too! I also love the honeysuckle but its a vine lol.
Some honey suckle is a vine, some is a shrub. They are quite a few varieties of it.
