Have you ever found item(s) in your shopping basket or cart that doesn’t belong to you? Or you inadvertently took someone else basket or cart?
Today there was an item that I’m pretty sure I didn’t put in my basket. Someone must have mistook my basket for theirs and put it in mine. Not that it’s a big deal, but I’m sure that person wondered why it’s not in their basket.
I’ve accidentally took off with someone’s cart and had to go back to put it where I think it was.
No, I’ve never had that problem.
I did try to take the wrong child home from school once though when my son was in kindergarten. There were several little blonde boys in his class, all about the same size with roughly the same buzz cut hair. The kids were all milling around in the hallway and what I thought was my kid was at the drinking fountain drinking like a camel who just crossed the Sahara. I grabbed him by the collar of his polo shirt and said, “C‘mon RT, let’s GO!” And we were three steps down the hall before I realized I had hold of Dwight and not RT.
