My weekend didn’t start till 3 pm Saturday... so very short.
This business of putting in an 8 hr day on Saturday after working 50 hours during the week is getting old.
But, Friday night i went for drinks with the boys and to supper and the community theater play with a good friend who I haven’t had the chance to visit with lately.
Stayed over in town with friends so it was only a matter of 10-12 minutes to go from bed to work instead of the usual hour or more. What luxury to just lay in bed some extra time.
Slept in clear till 7:30 this morning. Bliss!!!! Although, I should have stayed in town another night and gone into work for 4 hours. Could have still made it home from work in time to go to church.
Busy! Drove into DC and was completely stressed out by the time I got there due to an accident on the interstate and then when I finally got to DC, trying to find parking. I had mapped a parking garage/lot on Mapquest but when I got to said address, there wasn’t one there! Things got a lot better when I finally made it to my Aunt’s luncheon.
I hate DC. It is such a pain to get there and the rotarys and one way streets are no fun to navigate through.
That ate up most of my Saturday and then I went grocery shopping later that evening but had to go back out on Sunday to finish it up.
Tulip - You have been working way too hard! Can you take a day off or something?
had the older boys until 4 on Saturday and we had quite the monsoon. so there went Saturday. Sunday I cranked out 2 articles. that was it.
