    • I have two daughters and got divorced and it was not easy going through the divorce but if you have a good support system you can do it and your daughters will understand. How old are they now? I dont believe you have to stay married just for the girls. Hang in there and be strong it is a tough one to make a decision about.

    • You NEVER have to stay married. If you want out, you can get out. So think of why you truly feel you MUST stay married.
      1. Do you still love him and feel that counseling would help? Get the counseling.

      2. Do you really believe children don’t already know MOm and Dad aren’t 1 foot from divorcing? No. Children are quite perceptive and besides, what are you showing your daughters about remaining where you either don’t want to be or he doesn’t want you to be? Think about that. You are the best female role model for your girls.

      3. Do you not want to change your lifestyle? Find a way to compromise and make it work for you then. See how to diminish the arguments and hopefully find peaceful coexistence. BUT remember, this situation, simply by the reasoning is often fraught with heartache—infidelity, emotional seperation, lack of a sex/social life.

Good luck. Been there, done it and would do it again.
