Q & A

What would U do? A friend told me about a situation and it got me thinking what would I do. She was on a “date” meeting an on-line guy for 1st time. She immediately felt NO chemistry, across the room a man was starring at her they exchanged glances. She felt sparks. She didnt want to be rude to the man she was with. She kept her eye contact with the other man  when her date wasnt looking who was continually starring at her.She said left and asked me if she should have walked by the other guy and dropped her card off since she never intended to see her date again. Should she have given her number?

    • How would this woman look to the guy she was interested in if she gave him her number while on a date with another guy?  NO CLASS!

      AND...

What kind of guy would WANT to date someone who gave him her number while she was on a date with another guy?

    • I agree, if it is meant to be, another opportunity would present its-self.

When you commit to a first date, it is your responsibility to follow thru on that commitment.

    • The other guy.... well... he may not be single, and if he were, wouldn’t he wonder if she would do this to him if they ever ended up seeing eachother again and making a date???  Maybe.
Too bad she was on a date!

    • I can see why some people right as anonoymous. This person writing about a friend may be writing about themselves and seeing comments such as “no class” could be hurtful.
Sometimes we don’t know the appropriate thing to do and we are all growing and learning individuals.

    • I wouldn’t give my number either.  If it’s meant to be...it will work out.  He’ll show up again.  And Daph is right...how does that make you look as a person.  Very tacky.

    • It was my friend not me that went on the date, she isnt familiar with your website and I wanted her to see all the answers to her question since my answer back to her didnt seem to be what she wanted to hear.

I posted it as annon. because I had a feeling someone would think it was me that actually had the experience not my friend, I didnt want anyone questioning it hence the reason. I didnt think it was a HUGE deal.....

Another way to look at it is life is short she could have been honest with her date and said youre a nice man just not for me, Im going to stay here alone for a bit. THen she could have been honest with the other man and said it was an internet date, do I know you - I was wondering by the way you were starring at me.  Who knows it could have been a wonderful story on how “they met“.
