I can’t imagine that they are a cost effective way to travel, but I would love to take a road trip in an up-to-date, luxury RV!!!
Oh, I hadn’t even thought of that, Tracy! I like the idea I can get up and move around. Or go take a nap while hubby drives! ;o)
I would love to take about 6 months and travel around the country in one.
I think they are truly cool, I would love to have one. I used to own a 5th Wheel, it was very beautiful and I loved it
LOL...sounds like me on a long trip with hubby, I hate to drive, so always volunteer to be the co-driver....lol
I used to live in a mobile home, and they are made of the same materials. I would never feel like I was really home in one, but nice for travel.
The cost is offset by not having to pay for motel and hotels, and being able to bring the family pets with you. Some people sell their homes when they retire just to live in one and travel.
Ex and I used to have one - it was great! He wasn’t good with maintaining things, though, and that worried me - you really have to take care of them. They are lots of fun!
I’d be scared to drive it, but I would love to be a passenger. I think it would be so much fun to take a couple of months and explore the whole state of California. I’d love to get a big ol’ dog to come too and stay at all the national parks!
