    • I’ve had so many, but the current one, Office Manager/Administrative Assistant/HR/Payroll/AP/AR....I wear many hats and I love having the diversity if I was busy it made for a fast paced day, and I have flexibility. I took care of 5 offices and loved the challenge. I’m currently on disability leave and I can only hope the job is still there when I’m ready to return.

    • I worked as a freelance writer for Heritage Media. They published what I refer to as coffee table books. The front of their books is the history of a particular town or region of the world and the back of the book has a series of human interest features about various businesses and people within the region that book is about. I wrote the features. I met a lot of interesting people and was able to write their story. The pay wasn’t bad either.

    • Pay wise the job I have now as a nurse(LPN) for NY state.  But as far as liking a job, I’d have to say Home Health nursing.  Not too stressful.  People were always glad to see me, they didn’t have to leave their homes to get woundcare/medical care/bloodwork,etc.. and I loved it.  I was by myself pretty much all day going from patient to patient in their homes, driving like 100 miles daily throughout Ulster County, NY.  I miss it  but not all the driving in blizzards and very icy roads in the winter.

Food, help with their light bill, referrals for some dental help, clothing and when the holidays came along we helped them with food. And during Christmas time we got a program together that we would start collecting toys, for the kids and families that we helped and also put together a Christmas box so they would have Christmas dinner on Christmas day.. It was so rewarding..

I was a programme coordinator where i liased with school authorities from small low funded Tamil schools and oraganize excursions and subject camps for their school childrens.

It was fun expecially when i come in contact with the students and see their joy and fun they had during the activities.

My boss, however, was an old grumpy women who made my life in office misreable but most of the time i was out visiting the schools,so it was ok.

You cant have them all..Can YoU??

    • All my jobs have been good but I would say working for someone else for the first time when I interned after university in 2003 at the industry magazine - it was like the final piece in the jigsaw - I had always worked in the industry so reporting on it was great .... like seeing all your friends every day for a chat without acres of responsiblity after years of it

    • The best job I have is what I am doing right now (although I in no way consider it a “job“).  I am in the anti aging business with a miracle machine that erases wrinkles with results in as little as 15 minutes!  Amazing!
I am also blessed in that I am helping people change their lives with financial freedom - and as a result, some wonderful people have enriched my life through this experience.

    • The best job I ever had was working in an aluminum smelter here in Kentucky. I got to drive around on a forklift all day and work around molten aluminum.  I worked 12 hour swing shift and the pay was fantastic! It was fun and I had many friends.  Unfortunately, another company bought them out and here I am.
