Q & A

There’s 23 of my friends and I going to Vegas this summer (2010) for Girls Weekend Getaway.  Will you please recommend activities we should participate in??  We have already schedule Cirque du Soleil, a comedy show, spa treatments, and Casinos.  For those of you who have been, please make your recommendations.

    • The “O” show is unbelievable.

Vegas has fantastic restaurants at the Bellagio and Win.

My first option is the SPA, massages, facials, etc.

    • I also recommend taking the monorail and making stops along the way.

    • Well you cant go wrong with hitting the spa, some that I can recommended are Canyon Ranch at The Venetian and The Palazzo and i really liked the MGM spa.

Mandalay Bay has a really nice “beach area” where you can unwind and sip on some cocktails, the hotel also features some shopping and if you feeling a little adventurous they have the shark aquarium where you can dive with sharks.

If you interested in hitting the clubs there are plenty to be found in almost every hotel, but I heard EVE which is Eva Longoria’s new club is really good. - It’s located at the new city center.
The shows of course are amazing and any one of the Cirque du Soleil shows will be a good choice.

Melissabelle is right on the money with the blue man group and the Grand Canyon day trips.
One thing you have to check out is the Bellagio’s water show in the evening - my hubby and I always check it out before we head to dinner.

Anyways i hope this has helped, there is so much to do there, that i doubt you’ll fit everything in on one weekend, but it sure is a fun filled place.estatic
I hope you have a wonderful time.

    • Spa day sounds great! Hope you all enjoy Itestatic

Theres the Hoover dam, I believe It’s just 30 minutes away, I’m sure your hotel can probably have a van take you all there, they have differant tour packages there.
Of course theres the shops at Ceaser’s hotel, you don’t wanna miss those. Theres the Carnival outside Bar at Harras’s (sp) They have live bands at night and the bartenders are fun to watch doing their tricks. You wanna get there early If you want a seat at the bar though, It gets pretty crowded quick. Theres also Studio 54 at the MGM Grand. The other ladies already gave you some pretty yummy places to eat so I hope you and your friends have a great fun time In Vegas. Let us know how It went and take picsestatic
