    • Jeans.  I like mine to fit snug, not tight, just not loose.

    • All of it! LOL! I got rid of mine after I shed 2 dress sizes in 1 1/2 months. And I dug out a lot of the clothes I had been storing in my basement. It was like shopping for new clothes. Some of it was over 15 yrs old! But I got into it finally. It was awesome. It’s also took me forever to get used to the new me in the mirror. Every time I looked in the mirror I saw the old me. If it wasn’t for my clothes falling off my body, I never would have believed it. It’s amazing what kind of tricks the mind can play.

    • Honestly?  I think I’d be afraid to get rid of any of it, thinking I’d eventually be back to my old weight and wishing I had it back.

      I may need therapy...lol!

    • I had the opposite problem. I gained enough weight to finally after 20 years of being underweight, be at my proper weight. I had jeans and twill pants in sizes 9, 10, 11 and 12 in my closet and immediately donated the 9s & 10s, because I doubt if I’ll ever be that size again. Now I had to add 14s to the wardrobe, and if I ever drop a few pounds around my waist, I’ll be glad the 12s are still going to be in my closet.

    • Sweat pants! I couldn’t wear jeans for the longest time because they weren’t soft and hurt to wear them.  A friend of mine gave me a pile of skinny jeans that are stretch a year ago and they are soft enough to wear.

And the next was baggy, too long, shapeless tops and boxy big jackets. If I can’t alter it to fit better, it’s outta here!
I hope you ladies are donating your casts offs to thrift stores that support a charity. ;oD

    • Last Spring, I began to dramatically change my eating habits and I became more physically active in an attempt to lose weight.  In total, last year I had lost about 26 lbs, but this year I have lost a few more pounds, which brings my weight loss in 8 months to a grand total of 28 lbs.

I went from wearing size 10-12 to wearing size 6-8 so I have plenty of clothes that no longer fit me.  Instead of throwing clothes away, I prefer to give them away to someone who may need them.

    • I toss out old underwear too, Vikki. I lost 23 lbs and needed new undies and what fun I
found a leopard print bra!  The great thing about sexy, prety underwear though nobody knows we're wearing them, is how it makes us feel inside.

    • Hi Neicy,

Good girl giving up the soda! You are going to see the pounds melt off of you from giving it up! And congratualations for the 15 lbs, I’m so proud of you! This move for your health
and your future is fantastic. Don’t get discouraged if your weight loss seems to slow down
because us women don’t lose big numbers every week like men can. Just hang in there and
      keep your goal in mind.

      Hugs,
      Cathie

    • Hi Dana,

I have to congratulate you on your 28 lbs lost and you getting more physically active. I
need to stay active to keep my muscles & tendons flexible to avoid problems, and the
endorfins and knowing I’m taking care of myself is ... Sweet. ;oD

It warms my heart to hear how many of us make donations of clothes to help others. I
also like to do clothes exchanges with friends which is like a shopping spree without it
      costing money. It’s fun!
