What’s your favorite grocery store? How often do you shop for groceries?
We‘re pretty limited over here. We have Costco which is a life saver. But for regular grocery stores we only have Safeway and our local chain, Foodland.
Foodland is junk. But it’s the closest to me. I have to drive about 30 minutes to get to Safeway downtown. There’s another Safeway in an area that caters mostly to tourists. I like that store a lot. I can find things there I don’t see in my downtown store.
We go to Costco once a week and I usually hit the regular store about once a week, if that.
I have been grocery shopping at Walmart lately, but I will only buy meats and veggies/fruits from either Bel Air (Raleys/Nob Hill) or Safeway. I absolutely love Costco, but I can't afford the $300 Club anymore, just on occassions will I dare walk in there!

When I lived in Texas I was at Whole Foods all the time. What an awesome place. Fresh salad bars, fresh hot food bars, bakeries, oh my gosh.
I’m a Waitrose girl - just love the layout, food choice and their own brand is beautiful also the service is unparalleled
I plan my whole week of dinners then shop only once a week.
I save sooo much doing it this way. I shop at Albertson’s for 90% of my groceries and if you spend over $150 a week they send you $10 coupons for four consecutive weeks. It’s a great deal if you can stay consistent with weekly shopping.
Where I live now I like Publix and Costco plus local organic farmer’s market. I also like and miss Safeway
In order of appearance in my month:
Henry’s (dh refers to this store as my home away from home)
Costco and last, Von’s
I shop at Super Target about once a week cause I never know what I’m going to prepare for dinner. And Costco & Sam’s about every 3-4 weeks.
I don’t have any choice - just the little local shop here in the village which does not stock much in the way of food I like to eat. Now and then my boyfriend will try to get to an English shop if it’s near to where he’s working - then I get to have some treats like Peanut Butter, curry sauces, and baked beans!
I’m very excited because there is a Chinese buffet opening in the next town soon - there is nowhere to eat out here or to get a takeaway so this is a really BIG deal for us!

My favourites are Whole Foods and PCC, (organic store in the Seattle area) which has fresh locally grown food and a mouth watering deli. I also shop at QFC weekly and Costco monthly as well. The Seattle area is foodie heaven! There is something for every taste and budget and I appreciate all the choice.
Whole Foods for everything but paper products, then it is K-mart or Lowes, although I still buy organic cleaning items and shop GREEN whenever I can, must do my part to keep the world cleaner and stable.
WOW! lets see I love Kroger’s, Hiller’s Market and also Busch Market, I try to go maybe twice a month seeing its only me and hubby but he tends to go to Meijer’s a lot more often then we need lol.
