My dream is on a lake with mountains in the view..... Not sure what state but by then I will be used to TN so probably here somewhere.
I just hope to still have a roof over my head by the time I retire.

Hubby will be retirement age in 12-15 years. I don’t see us being able to afford to retire anywhere but right where we are now.
Ideally, I want to retire in a location equi-distant from all my children so I can go visit each of them easily.
I’m already retired due to health and it’s occurred to me that I have options once the X buys me out of this place but... I’d like to stay in this area. I like it and I’m used to it and I have friends here.

Maine, the south beach area. The ocean is so beautiful to wake up and look out on, love the granite everywhere and the lighthouses. I would love to be able to live in one. I’d buy whatever I would need for a month at a time, and only come to town for supplies, clothes and a concert here and there. I love the peace and solitude and after spending all of my life in New York, I would welcome it.
