Why do supermarkets make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front?
Seriously? Who was the genius behind this?
Honestly, I don’t think there is any logic in supermarket layout.
I will say, our nearest wally world has the pharmacy right up front beside the door. Very nice, you can go the opposite direction to avoid the sick people.
Hmmmm. Never thought about that before. They should put the cigarettes in the same department as the pharmacy.
As someone who has worked in pharmacies, I can answer that quickly. Why are most pharmacy counters in the back of the store? For security reasons. Both the counter and the drug store room are monitored by both camera and management personnel.
