    • has she tried baby powder?

Also often shampoo and conditioning doesn’t make this condition better.

Good diet and less stress also helps.

See if you can put her on gluten free, wheat free, sugar and dairy free diet for two weeks and see if there is a difference. Yes, it’s hard for a girl this age, but it’s doable and it does help

    • Cris, how about asking at the salon you go to? I bet they’ll have an answer for you. Good luck!

    • My daughter was the same way...I think it bothered me more than it did her...

Greasy hair comes from active oil glands, so try the opposite..if her hair has enough oil it would be less likely to produce more if it dries out some..do you think maybe she is washing it tooo much, increasing the oil in her hair..???

Try one weekend, don’t wash from Friday to Sunday and see it that helps, it did some improvement with my daughter, no miracles mind you, but helped..

She is 24 now and still has “bad hair days“...

    • Tressamme (sp?) has a new spray in dry shampoo for when you can’t/don’t wash your hair.  It’s not expensive - you might try that.

    • I don’t know if it will be any help but maybe you should have her try the “Mane and Tail” brand of shampoo and conditioner. My hair has always been sickeningly oily. I would be lucky to make it 6 hours before it looked like it was never washed. But it’s been a lot better for the last five years or so, that was when I first tried Mane and Tail.
