I have a few but this will probably be the one I cherish forever....
My mom had been sick and required round the clock care. My sisters and I along with other help provided the care. So the very last Christmas my mom was here I stayed with her. My 2 daughters also stayed too. We all wore matching pj’s and just had a great time.
Christmas morning I made a quiche fro us and we hung out and watched movies all day. Family and friends came by to visit.
She passed away a week later.
I have tears......again! Lol those are all wonderful and special.
Mine....I was pregers with Mellisa and my son was 11. My dad passed away december 19th. 2 weeks after I told him I was expecting his grand daughter in may.
On Christmas Day a package came through a family friend it was from my dad. Letters he had recently written to me, to my son and to his granddaughter and a locket with a picture I have yet to open and see.
It might not seem happy to most but to me its so full of love that it beats all the rest
Of my memories not anyone elses is what I ment by beating all the rest
the picture honey.
I think the first Christmas Alice my daughter really understood it and was just in awe for about a week but seeing her face as she opened her presents was magical

When we were kids and decorating the tree my Dad would always play Gene Autry’s Christmas album. Every time I hear any of the songs it brings back great memories of Christmas’s when me and my brothers were kids.
