Ok ladies yes we do eat, but do you watch a movie, play games, go back to sleep, get on each others nerves, etc.
oh...
watch movies, relax for a bit. Maybe in-laws come over for dinner and we all just visit.
My daughter and I will watch TV or maybe a new DVD. After that we will go over to my brother’s place - parents will be there to visit to eat, talk, watch a show, and finally open gifts.
Well seeing I had to work today and I’m still waiting for the kiddies to arrive, we will probably open gifts first, eat dinner after and then we‘re planning on playing the Wii game system we got for my grand daughter and later watch some movies and eat some more lol.
We usually get dressed and go to my mother in law’s for breakfast. This year we all got up too late so we got dressed and went to breakfast at her house first...came home around 1:00 and then opened up all of our gifts. Then..we just do whatever. One son went to eat a late lunch with his friend who is in town at the Waffle House...lol...and my other son, Ben and I went over to my sister’s house in Augusta. My husband stayed at home with the dogs...and rested his bad knee. I visited another friend and then came home and went to bed. We just kind of all do our own thing...see our individual friends...and so forth.
Well we celebrate on christmas eve and open gifts at midnight. So it takes awhile cause we are opening them and taking pictures and seeing what everyone got
Then we go around hugging and thanking everyone and cleaning up our mess...lol, paper everywhere. After we are done we get more food cause we worked up a hunger after all that..lol
by the time we get home it’s 2:30am. Before that it’s food, games and movies.
After dinner this year we went to the movies. I used to do that every year except hubby’s mother lives too far away and this year she stayed with us.
