Whenever you begin your Spring cleaning what room will you start with and why?
I started last week with my closet, clearing out a lot of old clothes and shoes, today I did my drawers and hall closets getting rid of coats and stuff. I guess my purses and jewelry will be next and my sister inlaw my hubby’s sister can’t wait till I do that lol.
I usually start with my dinning room. A fresh table center peice seems to put me in the mood for spring
I start with the clothes in my closts and then I do the windows. When my windows are crystal clear I feel like cleaning everything!!!!
My kitchen. Because I like to change colours in there. So, I go through it first it’s also the easiest room and gets me in the mind set for closets, my daughters room, drawers, ect
Plus I’m picking new colours for bathrooms and re doing Mellisa’s room
Starting my kitchen this week end.
I hate cleaning and tend not to do it. If I get in the mood for spring cleaning I uusally start at teh front door and work my way in. There is so much clutter around the door, if I can get rid of all that, the whole house feels better.
I start with windows and then do shampooing of carpeting and area rugs, touch up paint for walls, baseboards, and door jambs. These are the most noticable changes after a wet and dirty winter with animals in & out of the house here in the woods.

Whatever room needs the most cleaning usually gets done first, but sometimes I just decide at the spur of the moment. Any cleaning accomplished is so satisfying.
